CrowFall online question compilation
What are you plans for loading screens? Will the world load seamlessly? Zone loading?
Care to elaborate on your 'survival' plans? (warmth, food, farming crops)
Now onto my questions. I was planning on asking some of these questions later, but since they're ramping up development, I figured why not
Are there any other reworks (animation or power wise) planned for the Champion, Confessor, Legionnaire, and/or Knight?
Will we see the 7-0 powers start to roll out on the current playable Archetypes (assuming Myrmidon has 6 also) before the 8th Archetype or before soft launch?
Will we be able to change how the cloth armor (naked armor) looks like during character creation
How extensive will the physical (appearance) character creation be? Bare bones (Changing face, hair, and clothing colors) like Wiz101 or DragonNest? Standard (body and face sliders and stuffs) like Wildstar and GuildWars 2? Or Asian MMO standard like Blade & Soul and Black Desert Online?
How would Arcane Books and Staffs differ? I'm assuming there will be Earthly Arcane Books and Fiery Staffs, my main point is why would a Confessor want to use a staff and a Druid use an Arcane Book.
Are there any plans to have different weapons have different LMB animations or power chains? I.e, will the Knight's Sword/Sheild LMB animation differ from a Knight's Mace/Shield LMB?
Will we also test the Myrmidon in HD or will he come in SP with the updated Siege weaponry?
Are there any plans to add battering rams so that knocking down the front door is a thing or will sieges (for now) only consist of defending and destroying (and circumventing) walls?
From my previous question post:
- How are victory points determined in a typical campaign in each of the bands?
- 3 faction campaign
- 12 faction camapign
- guild / alliance campaign
- How are alliances handled? Do allied guilds bend the knee to a figurehead guild to become sub-guilds?
- Let's say I have a unit that specializes in siege warfare. Guild A is attacking guild B and wants to hire my siege unit. They place a bane tree and establish the siege camp. How can they contract out management of the siege camp and construction of the siege engines and so on? Does my unit have to bend knee to their guild to gain access to their resources?
- Points of Interest
- Are these up for grabs 24/7? i.e., can they be captured at any time and generate resources for the owner for as long as they're owned? If I own a mine for 12 hours and it generates 12 units of ore, but I don't transport them out, and someone else captures the mine, are those 12 units waiting there for them?
- Movement
- Will there be a summoning mechanic like in Shadowbane? Means of fast travel between allied cities? (I hope the answer to both of these is no, btw).
- Death
- what happens when a vessel dies? Where does the crow appear and what does the crow have to do to get back in the action?
- Equipment
- Will vessels have "default" weapons and armor? The current skill tree seems to suggest they will. So if we enter a campaign world with nothing, we'll still have swords to swing, etc. Do you feel this will encourage naked zergs in campaign worlds with item loss on death?
- Strongholds
- How many resources will it require to construct the smallest stronghold that can support a Tree of Life? Do you expect to see ToLs being planted the first day of a campaign world? The first week?
- How many character-hours will it take to produce and support a stronghold with a Tree of Life? To gather the resources for the walls, buildings, etc?
- Can we construct buildings without a ToL to protect them?
